The specialty

The liftgate is the part that strands you

A trailer with a dead gate is a trailer that cannot deliver, even when everything else on it is perfect.

That is the work this business was built around. A gate that will not lift, will not hold, drifts down under load or dies halfway is normally the pump motor assembly, the hydraulic valve body, a stretched or broken lift cable, or the wiring feeding all of it. We find out which one, order the part from the gate manufacturer, and fit it.

What we repair

Six things that put a trailer out of service

Every one of these is work in our own job photos. If it is not on this list, call and ask — we would rather tell you straight than take a job we are wrong for.

Hydraulic liftgates are what we know best, and it is the work we are called out for most.

Threshold plate, box truck. The old plate had corroded through to an open hole and the seam had split, so a loaded pallet jack had nowhere safe to cross. Cut out, new steel diamond plate fitted, welded and set flush with the floor.

Your trailer does not have to move for us to fix it

Towing a dead trailer to a shop costs more than most of these repairs.

We work out of a service truck. Hydraulic parts, welding gear, hardwood, diamond plate and hand tools travel with us, so hydraulics, welding, flooring, threshold plates, landing gear and door hardware can all be done in the spot the trailer already occupies.

Some jobs genuinely need more than a driveway. If yours is one of them, we will say so on the phone instead of driving out, looking at it, and charging you to be told.

Where we work

Metro Atlanta and Middle Georgia

That is the area the business covers. Yards, lots, warehouse docks and the shoulder where the trailer stopped — if it is in the area and we can get a truck to it, we can usually work on it there.

Not sure whether you are inside it? Call and say where the trailer is. We will tell you yes or no rather than guess.
