About

A new company doing an old job

Moonlight Trailer Repair LLC is young, and there is no reason to pretend otherwise. What is on this website is the work, all of it real, and the rest is the phone number.

What we are

Mobile first, liftgates in particular

The business runs out of a service truck across Metro Atlanta and Middle Georgia.

There is no shop address on this site because there is no shop you would bring a trailer to. The work goes to the trailer. Hydraulic parts, welding gear, hardwood, diamond plate and tools ride in the truck, and the repair happens in the yard, the lot or the dock where the trailer stopped.

Within that, liftgates are the specialty — it is on the logo and it is what most of the calls are about. Pump motor assemblies, hydraulic valve bodies, lift cables, platforms that need welding, and the wiring that ties it together.

How we work

Straight answers before anyone drives anywhere

Describe the symptom on the phone and you will get an honest read on what it usually turns out to be. If it is a job that genuinely needs more than a driveway, you will be told that on the call rather than after a trip charge.

Liftgate parts are ordered from the manufacturer. Hydraulic and lifting components on a gate are load-bearing, and a nearly-right part is how a platform ends up on somebody.

Work gets photographed as it happens. Everything in the gallery is a customer's trailer with their plate and fleet number obscured, which is also why there is no page of borrowed stock trucks on this site.

Being straight about it

What we have not put on this website

Plenty of trailer repair websites carry numbers that no one can check — years in business, trailers serviced, guaranteed response times, badges nobody issued. None of that is here, because this company is new enough that any of it would be invented.

What is here instead: the services we can show ourselves doing, the area we cover, the liftgate makes we have already worked on, and a phone number that reaches the person doing the work. When there are reviews from real customers, they will go up. Until then there is no testimonials section, because there is nothing honest to put in one.

If that is the kind of outfit you would rather deal with, the number is below.

Where we work

Metro Atlanta and Middle Georgia

That is the area the business covers. Yards, lots, warehouse docks and the shoulder where the trailer stopped — if it is in the area and we can get a truck to it, we can usually work on it there.

Not sure whether you are inside it? Call and say where the trailer is. We will tell you yes or no rather than guess.

Trailer down? Tell us where it is.

Call and describe what the trailer is doing. If we can fix it where it sits, we load the parts and come to you.
